Default Beastmaster

Hi! This is build I was running,it is ok,but I need you to tell me if I can make it better

[build prof=R/Mo name="Brutal Shot" box beast=11+1+1 expertise=10 marksmanship=10+1 desc="Weapon #1: Crippling Recurve Bow of Fortitude{br}Weapon #2: Spear of Fortitude"][Poisonous Bite][Scavenger Strike][Brutal Strike][Melandru's Shot][Sloth Hunter's Shot][Comfort Animal][Charm Animal][Feral Aggression][/build]

I think that damage is good enough,it's like pressure,it have nice energy managment,snare....but it doesn't have any survival,or res sig,or interrupt.
So I need your advice. Do I really need survival skills and res here?
Help me make this build better

I never carry a rez with H/H, and rarely with other players as long as there is at least one H/H with a hard rez in the party. You can't really expect one build to do everything -- interrupts, conditions, damage, etc. -- so the best you can do is decide what is needed most in a particular quest or mission and put in the appropriate skill(s).

Personally, I play my beastmaster ranger as a pure beastmaster, and have no complaints about the damage I can dish out. I carry a high-energy staff (Insightful staff of Fortitude with a Hale & Hearty inscription = energy +20) with all my points in Beast Mastery and Expertise, and I can spam pet attacks all day long, so the pet is almost continually doing bonus damage. I use Call of Protection and Call of Haste, which are easy to keep up, and one of the attacks is always Predator's Pounce, which keeps the pet healed very nicely most of the time. The other 2-3 pet attacks vary, though Brutal Strike is almost always one of them.

you can always kick Poisonous Bite. Mel's Shot will supply the condition for Scavenger's, so you could fit in Savage/Dshot/Rez.

another option would be to remove Feral Aggression (I'm not quite a fan of it) and replace that with other options.

looks fine though, i just don't know if your current build does more than a full beastmaster / spear dude. but i really like the Mel's Shot idea!

If this is for PvP then add a Rez sig for sure, and an Interupt.

I don't agree BrettM about being a "Pure Beast Master" the advantage of a pet is the increase of Damage by increasing your party size, doing nothing with yourself, as far as attacking/party healing/interupting simply limits yourself and the team, instead of becoming a 9/8 party you remain 8/8.

If this is PvE look into some of the PvE only skills, [Never Rampage Alone] was recently buffed, plus it has some minor self healing, and [Great Dwarf Weapon] works well on a pet.
